TAKS online release tests

We may have taken many of these tests over the course of the year, but working on them together will give use some useful answers as to what we should do with the little time we have before the test.

I really want you to talk out your answers. Ask each other questions like:

“Why do you think that’s the right answer?”

“If you had to guess, what answer do you think it would be? Why?”

“How are you sure that is the answer?”

Make sure everyone in your group has a say at answering each question. Remember, I’m not as worried about you getting every question right, as I am about you learning why an answer is right.

For those of you who need a bit more of a challenge (have recieved 100% on over half of our Friday assessments), here’s a sixth grade reading test:

If you would like, you may also practice with these tests at home or in the computer lab.
